March 23, 2005 (Volume 1)
TO OUR VALUED CLIENTS: We would like to introduce the P.I.P. TIPS Newsletter which has been
created to help you and your staff get the most out of your P.I. Powertool Case Management
system. In addition to tips on how to use the P.I. Powertool, this newsletter will assist you in
finding resources on our website
(www.hipersoft.com)
for the configuration and operation of the P.I. Powertool. We will also be posting product
information for updates and new modules. And finally, we will be requesting your input
on ways to improve the P.I. Powertool system through online surveys and direct e-mail. We
thank you for your patronage, and we look forward to working with you in the future to help
increase the productivity of your business.

Client information can be at your fingertips in seconds!
The PIP provides you with the ability to access a particular client's
information in 3 simple steps.
HOW DO YOU DO IT?
(1) The PIP has a built in Find Mode. To enter the Find Mode, use the
Ctrl+F key combination. The Find Mode can be used while you are
looking at any screen in the PIP.
(2) In Find Mode, you will notice that all of the
data fields on the screen you are currently looking at will be empty.
To perform a search while in find mode, simply type the search string that you
are looking for in the appropriate field. For example, if you are on the
Insurance Screen and you wish to find a client with the last name "Jones", type the
search string "jones" into the "NAME" field at the top of the screen.
(3) Click on the Return key to execute the Find command. The
Find command will display all client records which match the text
strings that you entered while in Find Mode.
WIDEN THE SCOPE OF YOUR SEARCH: If you are unable to find a client or other
information that you are looking for, then you can widen your search by
typing in a shorter search string. For example, if you type in the
search string "jo" in the name field while in Find mode, your search would
find both "Jones" and "Johnson" (assuming that you have a client named Johnson). For
more information on using the Find command, please reference the "Help" menu at the
top of any screen in the PIP. |
We are embarking on a Product Development Campaign and would appreciate
your participation in our
OnLine Survey,
which will only take a few moments of your time.
The survey asks you to select from a list of New Features that you would like
to see in the next version of the P.I. Powertool.
The list of New Features that appear in this first survey were derived from suggestions
received by e-mail and fax from our clients. On a regular basis, we review the
suggestions and focus on developing the top 3 requests.
We encourage you to send us your suggestions by e-mail to:

If you are upgrading from the PIP 2000 v1.2 or any prior version, you
