FIND CLIENT INFO FAST!

ONLINE SURVEY

PIP 2004 UPGRADE

Client information can be at your fingertips in seconds! The PIP provides you with the ability to access a particular client's information in 3 simple steps.

HOW DO YOU DO IT?

(1) The PIP has a built in Find Mode. To enter the Find Mode, use the Ctrl+F key combination. The Find Mode can be used while you are looking at any screen in the PIP.

(2) In Find Mode, you will notice that all of the data fields on the screen you are currently looking at will be empty. To perform a search while in find mode, simply type the search string that you are looking for in the appropriate field. For example, if you are on the Insurance Screen and you wish to find a client with the last name "Jones", type the search string "jones" into the "NAME" field at the top of the screen.

(3) Click on the Return key to execute the Find command. The Find command will display all client records which match the text strings that you entered while in Find Mode.

WIDEN THE SCOPE OF YOUR SEARCH: If you are unable to find a client or other information that you are looking for, then you can widen your search by typing in a shorter search string. For example, if you type in the search string "jo" in the name field while in Find mode, your search would find both "Jones" and "Johnson" (assuming that you have a client named Johnson). For more information on using the Find command, please reference the "Help" menu at the top of any screen in the PIP.

We are embarking on a Product Development Campaign and would appreciate your participation in our OnLine Survey, which will only take a few moments of your time.

The survey asks you to select from a list of New Features that you would like to see in the next version of the P.I. Powertool.

The list of New Features that appear in this first survey were derived from suggestions received by e-mail and fax from our clients. On a regular basis, we review the suggestions and focus on developing the top 3 requests.

We encourage you to send us your suggestions by e-mail to: newideas@hipersoft.com.

The P.I. Powertool 2004 has many new features!

Our New Features section has a list of all the features that have been added to the PIP since 2000. See what you have been missing!

You can upgrade to the PIP 2004 from any prior version of the PIP.

After you purchase the basic upgrade, your data will be transferred from your prior version into the new version by a representative from HiPerSoft. Your upgrade is performed using RapidAssist, our state-of-the-art remote access help desk program that allows us to connect to your computer through the Internet.

If you are upgrading from the PIP 2000 v1.2 or any prior version, you will also need to purchase FileMaker Pro 5 or FileMaker Pro 6, the database software in which all recent versions of the PIP were developed.

If you want other members of your staff to receive the P.I.P. TIPS newsletter, please reply to this e-mail and include their e-mail addresses in the body of your e-mail.

To be removed from our e-mail list, please reply to this e-mail without changing the subject or body.
