Works with All Document Types
HiPerSoft has developed the Document Management System Module which allows you to gather,
review, and retrieve all of your case file documents. The system can manage all types of documents
irrespective of the program used to create the documents. With the Document Management System
you can store text documents (MS Word, WordPerfect, and Adobe Acrobat), images (photographs
and scanned documents), and even movies!

Assign Documents to Cases
Linking documents to your cases has never been this easy.
Documents can be assigned individually, but can also be assigned in groups by choosing a
client folder. In fact, you can choose up to 5 folders for each client from which to
assign documents. You only have to select client document folders one time, after which
the Document Management System will update the assigned documents with the click of a
button. And built in error checking will alert you when a selected folder is empty, or
when a selected folder does not exist anymore (ie., has been deleted or moved).
Retrieve Documents
Once case documents have been assigned, they can
be viewed and quickly opened. The document Detail View provides information including
the date and time of creation and modification, the file size, file type, and the staff
member who assigned the document. Any document can be opened by using the "Open"
button next to the document. When the "Open" button is used, the document will be
retrieved and displayed in its native application (ex., a WordPerfect document will
be opened and displayed in WordPerfect and a PDF document will be opened and displayed
in Adobe Acrobat).
Filter by Document Type
Documents can be filtered by type for viewing purposes.
The filter will automatically detect all types of documents that are present in the
Client document folders and present a list. By using the checkboxes in the filter,
you can make it easier to find the document you are looking for.
